Each Association member will be assessed annual dues for membership, which will, in effect, serve as matching funds for grant dollars appropriated, to be used for marketing and advertising as a cooperative effort.
Members will be featured in print and radio adverting, a tourism brochure and map, and on our web site, as well as other marketing efforts. In the future, the SWVA hopes to hold special events spotlighting the valley's products and services.
Rack Cards, Brochure & Map
A brochure will be designed with a user-friendly map, highlighting each association member's place of business. Tourists will be treated to a “trail” of cultural, educational and historic attractions which are meant to be informative about the history of the area, and to treat the traveler to a mix of traditional recreational options, such as golf, theater, and museums, as well as less experienced venues. A smaller rack card listing all members is printed and distributed twice a year as well.
Cooperative Advertising
Members will be included in print and radio advertising reaching the Omaha & Lincoln Metro areas and beyond.
Web Site
Your advertisments will be featured on this web site including a link to your site. Our site recieves an average of 120 visitors each month.
Events
Several times a year we host "Visit the Valley" tours, where our participating members are encouraged to offer specials, hold open houses, etc. We do special advertisements online and in area news and print media.

Honorary Membership
Honorary memberships may be granted to non-profit attractions such as museums, historical monuments, etc. Members vote to grant honorary membership to qualifying organizations.
